Claudia Neubauer

Claudia Neubauer is the co-founder of Citizen Science Foundation, a French non-profit organization that aims to democratize science and technology to serve the common good and the transition to a more socially and ecologically just world. She focuses on increasing the research and innovation capacities of civil society organizations; resolving scientific controversies with a strong societal dimension, such as protection of whistleblowers; and elaborating democratic processes for techno-scientific choices. She also works regularly as an expert for the European Commission. Since 2014, she has also served as a program officer on research, innovation, economy, and energy for the Swiss Foundation Charles Léopold Mayer. She holds a PhD in human genetics and an MS in scientific journalism.
