Iveta Silova

Iveta Silova is Professor and Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Global Education at Arizona State University. Her research explores the intersections of postsocialist, decolonial, and ecofeminist perspectives in envisioning education beyond the Western horizon. Her most recent work focuses on childhood memories, human-nature relationships, and environmental sustainability. She is the co-editor of European Education: Issues and Studies and associate editor of Education Policy Analysis Archives. Previously, she worked as an education researcher and adviser with various international organizations, including UNICEF, UNESCO, USAID, and the Open Society Institute. She holds a PhD in comparative and international education from Columbia University.
