Marcel Kok
Marcel Kok is Environment and Development Programme Leader and Senior Researcher at PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. His research concentrates on governance strategies and scenario analysis of global environmental problems, most recently on mainstreaming biodiversity, bottom-up approaches to global governance, sustainable supply chains, and vulnerability analysis. Before comign to PBL, he worked at the TNO Center for Technology and Policy (1992-1994) and then served as project officer for the second phase of the Dutch National Research Programme on Global Air Pollution and Climate Change (NRP-II) (1994-2001). He studied Social Sciences (specialization public policy) and Environmental Sciences at Utrecht University from 1986 to 1992.
