Stephen Woolpert

Stephen Woolpert is a Professor of Politics at Saint Mary’s College of California, where he served as the Dean of Liberal Arts at Saint Mary’s from 2004 to 2014. He specializes in public law and environmental politics, and his research has covered issues such as pollution and waste, energy, climate change, public lands, biodiversity and endangered species, sustainability, and food and water. He was the senior editor of Transformational Politics: Theory, Study, and Practice (1998) and a contributor in Taking Religious Pluralism Seriously: Spiritual Politics on America’s Sacred Ground (2005) and Beyond the Global Village: Environmental Challenges Inspiring Global Citizenship (2007).
